Introduction

Driving is essential to any GTA game, and San Andreas is no exception. Whether you’re driving to a mission, driving during a mission, or you want to explore the vast landscape in the game.

There are dozens of vehicles in GTA San Andreas; in fact, there are over 100. Many of these are based on popular and iconic cars from the likes of Ford, Dodge, Chevrolet, Nissan, and many others, so if you have a favorite car, there is a chance you can drive it in GTA.

GTA San Andreas Vehicles That Can Be Found In GTA San Andreas

In total, there are over 100 vehicles that you can drive in GTA San Andreas. These include cars, bikes, planes, helicopters, public service vehicles, and many other vehicles.

Rather than detail every vehicle in the game, this list will name all the vehicles in each category while highlighting some of my favorites that you should check out and use during your own game playthrough.

I am a fan of this van, especially for the side mission within GTA San Andreas “Beefy Baron,” where you control the RC plane and take down the majority of Berkley vans in three minutes. The Ford Econoline and a 1979 Dodge Tradesman inspired Berkley’s RC Van, which has a maximum speed of 99.42 mph (160.00 km/h). Is there anything more badass than a tank? I didn’t think so. If you’ve always wanted to drive a tank in San Andreas, then this is your perfect chance to do so, and you don’t even have to steal it. You are rewarded with the Rhino tank for earning 100% completion, and then it will spawn outside of CJ’s house; no one will mess with the Grove Street Families with that parked up.

The Brown Streak train is easily the most famous train in the series, with it being the vehicle used in the infamous “Wrong Side of the Tracks” mission that sees CJ and Big Smoke chasing the train. It isn’t a vehicle you will often find yourself using, but it is iconic to the series.

FAQ

Question: Which is the best vehicle in GTA: San Andreas?

Answer: The Hunter attack chopper is the best vehicle in GTA San Andreas. Its high speed, protective armor, and rocket launcher make it an excellent vehicle for various missions and scenarios.

Question: Which GTA games are set in San Andreas?

Answer: San Andreas has been home to four different GTA games so far. These games are GTA 1 and 2, GTA San Andreas, and the latest entry to be released, GTA V.

Question: Will San Andreas be the location of future GTA games?

Answer: With Vice City likely being the location of GTA VI, that would mean that the three classic locations, Liberty City, San Andreas, and Vice City, will have been in GTA IV, V, and VI. Rockstar Games may begin cycling through them again with future titles, it has been 25 years, and the series has always remained in these three locations for the most part. But, it will be a long time before we see GTA VII if it is ever developed, with my estimations being the mid-late 2030s.

Conclusion

Although there had previously been many vehicles in Grand Theft Auto games, San Andreas dwarfed them in comparison with many vehicles and vehicle types. Future games would continue this trend, with hundreds of vehicles being used as you build your criminal empire.

With Grand Theft Auto VI not being bound by the size of a disc due to games primarily being downloaded from the internet, it will be interesting to see how many are included in that game when it is released. Still, it will likely set a new record.
