The GTA series has always had a soft spot for conspiracy theories and supernatural mysteries. Just look at some of the older titles. GTA San Andreas with its Bigfoot sighting and the giant beating heart inside the Statue of Liberty in GTA 4.
Sure, you can still say they were just hoaxes or Easter eggs that players were not supposed to find. Well, you can believe whatever you want, but it’s impossible to deny the fact that Rockstar Games, particularly with GTA V, heavily indulged in these “theories” and developed an interesting quest surrounding them.
One of the biggest mysteries in GTA 5 is the existence of aliens. Countless discussions and debates have already been held online regarding this topic. All this reached a climax when players met a certain character in the game who represented this strange side of the fanbase.
This character then gives you a mission that requires you to collect spaceship parts that are scattered all over the map, and something insane happens when you manage to find all of them and bring them back to him.
So, take out your tin foil hats and get ready. You are about to have a close encounter with the third kind. Keep reading to find out where all of the Spaceship parts are located in this GTA V Spaceship Part Locations.
Bottom Line Up
- Quest Name: Far Out (Unlocks after the Fame or Shame mission)
- Quest Giver: Omega (You have to play as Franklin)
- Quest Objective: Find all of the spaceship parts hidden throughout the map.
- Time: 2 Hours – 4 hours
- The main tip to keep in mind: Use the Nagasaki Buzzard Attack Helicopter to travel.
- Total Reward: You will unlock the Space Docker (Special Buggy)
How to Start the Far Out Quest in GTA 5?
So it all starts after the pretty amazing mission called Fame or Shame. This is the mission in which Michael and Trevor finally meet and teach the sleazy talent host Lazlow Jones a lesson on how he should interact with Michael’s daughter. Spoiler alert: Tattoo torture is involved.
In any case, once you complete this mission, you need to start playing as Franklin. This unlocks the Stranger and Freak mission Far Out. Now get into Franklin’s default car or just steal someone else’s and head to sandy shores. Travel to the east side, and you will find Omega standing outside his trailer.
Just strike up a conversation with Omega, and he will tell you about some of his “conspiracy” theories. The cool thing about this entire interaction is that Omega never directly mentions aliens, but you know exactly what he is referring to. Good Rockstar Games writing strikes again.
Once this conversation is over, you can finally officially begin this quest. This is going to be a very time-consuming mission, and Rockstar Games has not given the players any kind of in-game markers to look at. If you want to find all of the spaceships on your own organically, I’ll see you after four years. But if you want to get this achievement fast, well, here I am writing this guide for you!
The Main Goal
The main objective is to collect all 50 spaceship parts scattered and hidden across the map. The spaceship parts look like glowing boxes with a strange sound emanating from them. After finishing this challenge, report back to Omega at his trailer.
These spaceship parts are very well hidden and are tiny, so keep your observational skills in check. I’ll recommend that you only play as Franklin because he is required to start this challenge and end it as well.
How Can You Get a Buzzard?
The Nagasaki Buzzard is essential for completing this quest effectively (although not required). So, if you are rich, then buy it from Warstock Cache and Carry’s website for $2,000,000. I know this helicopter is pretty expensive, but once you start using it, you will realize how helpful this vehicle is.
If you seriously don’t have this amount of money, then you can just steal it from Fort Zancudo military base, but you will get wanted levels, so the best alternative is the Buzzard located on the roof of the NOOSE Headquarters. This heist will be clean and simple.
All of the 50 Spaceship Parts Located in GTA 5
These spaceship parts can be found in any order you feel comfortable with, I highly suggest that you do them in the chronological order presented in this guide. This way, you can maximize your speed and efficiency. Alright, let’s go!
#1. Rock Formation — Senora National Park
This area is present at Sandy Shores, near the town. You will find a pretty noticeable rock formation and on it, you will find the spaceship part.
#2. Beam Me Up — Sandy Shores
Hopefully, you have a Buzzard by now. You can use it to travel to the eastern side of Sandy Shores to the giant Beam Me Up art installation. This area is also full of alien enthusiasts. So, once you land on top of it, check the area that is accessible via a staircase, and you will find the spaceship part.
#3. Alamo Sea — Sandy Shores
This one might be a little frustrating. So, this spaceship part is going to be in the Alamo Sea. But don’t worry, you don’t have to swim a lot, as you can find it near the coast, where the Boat House can be found. It will be in the sea, and it will have a strange glow, which will help you identify it.
If you are still having trouble, just open up your map and look at the coastlines that are like two horns. Now, just travel to the longer one and find a red boat beached on the land. This is your sign to jump into the water. If all goes well, you will find the part.
#4. Satellite Relay Station on Route 68 — Grand Senora Desert
The easy way to get this spaceship part is by opening up your map and finding the Satellite Relay Station present on Route 68. Now, when you look at this place on the map, you will realize that the Satellites look like silhouettes of clams. The part will be present on the leftmost one. Run up its staircase and it will be there.
#5. North of Route 68 — Grand Senora Desert
This one is pretty straightforward, as you only have to land (assuming you are still using the Buzzard) at the northern side of Route 68, almost in the middle of the Grand Senora Desert. You will find the spaceship part below a big blue boat.
#6. Abandoned House — Great Chaparral
Travel over to the north side of the Great Chaparral and look for an abandoned rundown house. There on the back porch, you will find a spaceship part.
#7. Dirt Road Cliff — Great Chaparral
If you go to Mount Haan Road, you will find a dirt road. This dirt track will have a cliff, and you have to travel there to find the spaceship part. It will be below one of the cliffs.
#8. Welcome Sign — Grand Senora Desert
When you are in the Grand Senora Desert, just go right off the Redwood Lights Track. There you should find a fenced house with a giant “Welcome” sign in the backyard. Another reason why you should just get a Buzzard helicopter. You will find the spaceship part under the sign.
#9. Power Station Pipes — Tataviam Mountains
Travel to the north side of the Land Act Reservoir. Be ready to step in mud, as the spaceship part will be near one of the pipes.
#10. Land Act Dam — Tataviam Mountains

#11. Alcove — Tataviam Mountains
Between the Pacific Ocean and the Tataviam Mountains, you will find a small alcove. Just walk on the small beach, and you will find the spaceship part. If you are finding it difficult to identify this place, just look for a small island very close to the land on the eastern side.

You can find a spaceship part inside a waterway at Paleto Forest. It’s near the cable car place and the highway.
#19. Paleto Cove — Paleto Forest
One of the peninsulas is connected to the beach and contains some huge trees. You will find a spaceship part there.
#20. Raton Canyon Bridge — Ranton Canyon
You can find the spaceship part on the support beams of this bridge. However, reaching the support beams can get tricky. So, the easiest way would be to land your Buzzard on the beams, as it is small enough to fit under the bridge.
The hard way would be to jump from a helicopter with a parachute and land on the beams. You not only have time to jump, but you also have to utilize your parachuting skills.
#21. Top of the Mountain — Mount Josiah
Mount Josiah also has a spaceship part. However, it might be difficult for many players to find it due to the sheer size of this mountain.
So, the best way to find this part would be to first find a red container at the base of the mountain near a bridge and then just keep flying your helicopter up the mountain from there. Hopefully, you will notice the spaceship part on one of the cliffs.
#22. Below the Calafia Bridge (Railway) — Cassidy Creek
You can find a spaceship part below the Calafia Bridge on the rock formation near the waterfall.

Over the Zancudo River, there is a stone bridge with a roof. Just go under this bridge and you will find a spaceship part.

Just travel to the area where the Zancudo River flows from the Alamo Sea. Just keep following the river between Harmony and Mount Josiah and check the large waterside.
#25. Waterfall — Tongva Valley
Follow the Zancudo Barranca road and look for a waterfall near a crossroads. If you are having trouble just open up a map and look for the area where the roads make “A” shape. Once you reach this area, just go towards the bottom of the lower waterfall and you will find a spaceship part.
#26. Marlowe Vineyards — Tongva Hills
Travel to the Tongva Hills and land near the Marlowe Vineyards. It will be on the hill in front of the main building. You can find the spaceship part in the middle row.
#27. Cave — Tongva Hills
This cave is located at the center of the Tongva Hills, and to get there, you just need to follow the creek. This cave is pretty small, so you will notice its opening.
#28. Modern House — Banham Canyon
On the Tongva Hills, hover through Banham Canyon Drive, and you will find a modern mansion. Just enter its backyard and you will find the spaceship part near a telescope.

Another place where having a helicopter is going to be very useful. You can land on the second-floor garden near the stunt location. A spaceship part will be there.

#36. Blacklot City — Richards Majestic Productions
Land your helicopter on the left side building of studio 15 as the spaceship part will be on the balcony.
#37. Penris Building — Downton
This is another area that is only accessible with the help of a vehicle that can fly. So, land on the roof of this building located at Swiss Street, and you will find a spaceship part.
#38. Underground Tram Station — Downton
This is one of those rare places where using a helicopter might be impractical. So, I suggest you steal a car or a bike and enter the Underground Tram Station from the highway access.
Keep driving till you reach the ramp area, as on the left side, behind some small reddish barricades, you will find a spaceship part.
#39. Simmet Alley Market — Textile City

#45. Island — Pacific Ocean
On the southernmost tip of Los Santos, you can find a small “Island” very close to the beach, next to the port. It is mainly full of giant rocks poking out of the ocean. There, you can find a spaceship part.
#46. Beach Grate — El Burro Heights
Hover over the beach, and you will find a grate near the south side of the freeway. Inside it, you will find a spaceship part. There will be giant Vagos’ graffiti; you can’t miss it!
#47. Rancho Towers — South Los Santos
It looks like a strange art project! So, once you reach this place, just look for the spaceship part at the bottom of one of these towers.
#48. Gas Domes — Elysian Island
You will immediately see two giant gas domes when you reach this place. There will be a long pipe connecting these two domes. The spaceship part is on top of this pipe, directly in the middle.
#49. Los Santos Naval Port — South Los Santos
The Merryweather is in charge of this region, so make sure not to grab their attention. Just start flying over Pier 45 and land on the eastern side of the warehouse. Quickly get out and jump into the ocean from there. In the ocean, swim toward the bottom. You will find some iron beams, and beneath them, a spaceship part resides.
#50. Los Santos International Airport
Land on the southernmost end of the airport. You will find the spaceship part on the service road there. Keep in mind that you will get a one-star wanted level, so quickly get out of there.
If you want to avoid the police entirely, I recommend you buy a hangar in that airport beforehand or find the spaceship part during the Eye in the Sky mission.
Now, hopefully, you have collected all of the 50 spaceship parts. Take a break and begin The Final Frontier mission. Don’t worry, this mission will be pretty quick.
How to Beat The Final Frontier Mission in GTA 5?
Start playing as Franklin and travel to the Omega’s laboratory in a trailer park near RON Alternates Wind Farm. There, Omega will congratulate you for collecting all of the spaceship parts for him and finally reveal what alien technology he has been working on. Well, this reveal is kind of anti-climatic, as it is a UFO, but small. Very Small.
At least he was not lying about meeting with beings from another galaxy. The real practical reward is the Space Docker that you can now drive.
It is a unique Dune Buggy. Its performance is pretty similar to its counterpart. But the coolest thing about it would be the spaceship noise it makes when you drive it. You also unlock the “Beyond the Stars” achievement.
Question: Can you collect the spaceship part while playing as Michael or Trevor?
Answer: Yes, it does not matter which character collects the spaceship parts as long as you start and end this mission with Franklin.
Question: Where can you track the spaceship parts you need to find?
Answer: You can open up the “Checklist” tab of your Rockstar Social Club account and look at the spaceship parts you still need to collect.
GTA V Spaceship Part Locations: Conclusions
This is the most time-consuming and exhausting challenge a GTA 5 player can take on. If you truly want to achieve this feat, then make sure you are free for the next 1-4 hours. Knowing the GTA 5 map in general is also advantageous.
But in any case, using a guide is very much recommended by the community. So, don’t feel guilty about referring to this guide!
