The GTA series has always had a soft spot for conspiracy theories and supernatural mysteries. Just look at some of the older titles. GTA San Andreas with its Bigfoot sighting and the giant beating heart inside the Statue of Liberty in GTA 4.

Sure, you can still say they were just hoaxes or Easter eggs that players were not supposed to find. Well, you can believe whatever you want, but it’s impossible to deny the fact that Rockstar Games, particularly with GTA V, heavily indulged in these “theories” and developed an interesting quest surrounding them.

One of the biggest mysteries in GTA 5 is the existence of aliens. Countless discussions and debates have already been held online regarding this topic. All this reached a climax when players met a certain character in the game who represented this strange side of the fanbase.

This character then gives you a mission that requires you to collect spaceship parts that are scattered all over the map, and something insane happens when you manage to find all of them and bring them back to him.

So, take out your tin foil hats and get ready. You are about to have a close encounter with the third kind. Keep reading to find out where all of the Spaceship parts are located in this GTA V Spaceship Part Locations.

Bottom Line Up

  • Quest Name: Far Out (Unlocks after the Fame or Shame mission)
  • Quest Giver: Omega (You have to play as Franklin)
  • Quest Objective: Find all of the spaceship parts hidden throughout the map.
  • Time: 2 Hours – 4 hours
  • The main tip to keep in mind: Use the Nagasaki Buzzard Attack Helicopter to travel.
  • Total Reward: You will unlock the Space Docker (Special Buggy)

How to Start the Far Out Quest in GTA 5?

So it all starts after the pretty amazing mission called Fame or Shame. This is the mission in which Michael and Trevor finally meet and teach the sleazy talent host Lazlow Jones a lesson on how he should interact with Michael’s daughter. Spoiler alert: Tattoo torture is involved.

In any case, once you complete this mission, you need to start playing as Franklin. This unlocks the Stranger and Freak mission Far Out. Now get into Franklin’s default car or just steal someone else’s and head to sandy shores. Travel to the east side, and you will find Omega standing outside his trailer.

Just strike up a conversation with Omega, and he will tell you about some of his “conspiracy” theories. The cool thing about this entire interaction is that Omega never directly mentions aliens, but you know exactly what he is referring to. Good Rockstar Games writing strikes again.

Once this conversation is over, you can finally officially begin this quest. This is going to be a very time-consuming mission, and Rockstar Games has not given the players any kind of in-game markers to look at. If you want to find all of the spaceships on your own organically, I’ll see you after four years. But if you want to get this achievement fast, well, here I am writing this guide for you!

The Main Goal

The main objective is to collect all 50 spaceship parts scattered and hidden across the map. The spaceship parts look like glowing boxes with a strange sound emanating from them. After finishing this challenge, report back to Omega at his trailer.

These spaceship parts are very well hidden and are tiny, so keep your observational skills in check. I’ll recommend that you only play as Franklin because he is required to start this challenge and end it as well.

How Can You Get a Buzzard?

The Nagasaki Buzzard is essential for completing this quest effectively (although not required). So, if you are rich, then buy it from Warstock Cache and Carry’s website for $2,000,000. I know this helicopter is pretty expensive, but once you start using it, you will realize how helpful this vehicle is.

If you seriously don’t have this amount of money, then you can just steal it from Fort Zancudo military base, but you will get wanted levels, so the best alternative is the Buzzard located on the roof of the NOOSE Headquarters. This heist will be clean and simple.

This one might be a little frustrating. So, this spaceship part is going to be in the Alamo Sea. It will be in the sea, and it will have a strange glow, which will help you identify it.

If you are still having trouble, just open up your map and look at the coastlines that are like two horns. Now, just travel to the longer one and find a red boat beached on the land. This is your sign to jump into the water. If all goes well, you will find the part.

How to Beat The Final Frontier Mission in GTA 5?

How to Beat The Final Frontier Mission in GTA 5?
Source: GTA Series Video

Start playing as Franklin and travel to the Omega’s laboratory in a trailer park near RON Alternates Wind Farm. There, Omega will congratulate you for collecting all of the spaceship parts for him and finally reveal what alien technology he has been working on. Well, this reveal is kind of anti-climatic, as it is a UFO, but small. Very Small.

At least he was not lying about meeting with beings from another galaxy. The real practical reward is the Space Docker that you can now drive.

It is a unique Dune Buggy. Its performance is pretty similar to its counterpart. But the coolest thing about it would be the spaceship noise it makes when you drive it. You also unlock the “Beyond the Stars” achievement.

FAQs

Question: Can you collect the spaceship part while playing as Michael or Trevor?

Answer: Yes, it does not matter which character collects the spaceship parts as long as you start and end this mission with Franklin.

Question: Where can you track the spaceship parts you need to find?

Answer: You can open up the “Checklist” tab of your Rockstar Social Club account and look at the spaceship parts you still need to collect.
