While many missions will give you a ride to get to your destination, having your personal car nearby is never a bad idea. Hundreds of land, water, and air vehicles are available to get you to your final meeting point, but nothing beats the good old four-wheelers.

There are more than a dozen categories for land vehicles to pick from, but only a handful can make you smile as you glide through the twisty roads of Southern San Andreas. A Sneak Peek at Dewbauchee

Dewbauchee is a fictional representation (a copy) of the famous British manufacturer Aston Martin. The name “Dewbauchee” is a wordplay on the word “debauchery” backed up by the four female legs spread out. Some of Dewbauchee’s greatest creations are the Champion, Massacro, Exemplar, Rapid GT, Vagner, and Seven-70.

The Dewbauchee Exemplar is one of the early luxury sports cars featured in Grand Theft Auto V. The car is recognized and well-known for its polished and elegant design, incarnating the distinctive features of a high-performance grand tourer.

The Exemplar has a low ground clearance and aerodynamic design. The body lines and creases are smooth and flowing, giving the Exemplar a refined, intricate, fancy, and nifty look.

It has a two-door coupe design, offering a sporty yet compact profile. However, it’s not a two-door coupé, it is a four-door luxury sedan. The Exemplar’s body can be found often in a variety of vivid colors and metallic paint finishes. Which allows players to customize its exterior appearance.

The front of the Exemplar is characterized by a prominent grille in the middle. It is the exact same grille you find on the Rapid GT. But, unlike the GT, the Exemplar has a smaller intake grille underneath the main one. The area above the grille is often embellished with the Dewbauchee badge at the center.

The front bumper on the Exemplar is low, featuring body color painted lip. The Rapid GT has an identical bumper but includes two additional intake grills on the side and a carbon fiber air splitter.

The Exemplar has sleek and narrow headlights with carbon housing, and they are well-integrated into the overall design. The housing color changes depending on the settings, body color, and view angle. Or maybe it’s my brain playing tricks on me! Anyways, it contains two main circular lamps and a small LED strip under the housing.

Furthermore, the hood is sculpted like the one on the Rapid GT and features subtle contours that add more aggression to the final look. It has two air vents on the edges to cool the engine. Still, the Exemplar’s hood is not as pronounced and bulky as the GT’s.

Moving to the side profile, you’ll notice the Exemplar’s distinctive and bold body lines. They add an element of uniqueness to the vehicle.

The beltline is high and runs along the sides of the car, from the top of the front fender to the lip spoiler on the back. Underneath it is the main body line. It is so intrusive and sticks out like a sore thumb. Between the lines, there are body-colored door retractable and flushed door handles, like the ones on an electric car.

The wheel arches are wide enough to fit in thick sporty tires, with a black air vent behind the front wheels. The Exemplar often comes with large alloy wheels with multi-spoke designs like an Aston Martin Rapide, putting further emphasis on its sporty nature. It is a weird vehicle with its elongated body, but the proportions are well-balanced.

At the rear, the Exemplar boasts large tail lights that wrap around the sides of the car, creating an oval shape. It also features dual-exhaust pipes with chrome tips. They are placed horizontally under the rear bumper, instead of being stacked over each other like the Rapid GT.

All in all, the design exudes a sense of luxury and performance because it is inspired by the gorgeous Aston Martin Rapide, with additional characteristics from the killer 2005 Carrera GT. The engine bay is a copy and paste of the Dewbauchee Rapid GT, which is taken from the real-life Ferrari California.

The interior of the Exemplar is basic and duplicated from the Rapid GT. It is plain, boring, and disappointing. Even the rear door panels are exactly identical to the door panels on the front.

Performance

The Dewbauchee Exemplar is relatively lightweight, weighing 1800 kg/ 3968 lbs. Like its two-door twin, the Exemplar also has magnificent acceleration. Supposedly, it can go from 0-60 in less than 5 seconds, making it one of the fastest sedans in the game. However, the top speed is limited to 117 mph even when fully upgraded.

The handling is responsive and precise. Though, the Exemplar tends to oversteer at fast, sweeping corners. But it is easy to correct. It is a well-rounded car for drifting and racing but not so good at off-roading. Despite the longer wheelbase, the Exemplar manages to beat the Rapid GT around some race tracks.

The Exemplar is powered by a twin-turbo dual overhead cam V8. The same engine can be found in the Rapid GT and the Furore GT. It has a six-speed transmission and rear-wheel drive. Hence, the proper drifting capabilities.

You may find a degree of difficulty in controlling it, but you can get used to it after a while. The car is slick and steady in its movements, and I couldn’t recommend it more.

Where to Find the Dewbauchee Exemplar

It is very hard to grab an Exemplar off the streets of Los Santos. It is rarely spotted around Vespucci Beach and Little Seoul areas. It appears during the “Abandonment Issues” mission in front of Dr. Friedlander’s office. If you can’t steal one off the street, you can head to Southern San Andreas Super Autos and buy one for 205,000 $.

In the Online playground, the Exemplar can be seen parked in the Diamond casino lot or driving in Vinewood Hills. If not, it will show up on Legendary Motorsports’ website for the price of 205,000 $.

Alternatives

The Exemplar is a great all-rounder. It is fast and has superb handling. However, the Coupes class features a lot of cars that can give the Exemplar a run for its money.

The Previon is the players’ first choice when it comes to racing. It is the fastest coupé around the race track and offers endless customization options. However, it is very expensive.

Enus Windsor

It is the fastest in the class, followed by its drop-top variant. The Windsor is focused more on luxury and is not the best around the twisty roads.

Ubermacht Zion

The Zion and its Cabrio may not be as fast as the Exemplar, but they are unstoppable on the race tracks. In addition, they come with more modifications for a fraction of the price.
