After nearly a year of delays, Rockstar finally came through and delivered the Casino Heist. Fans had been waiting patiently for the Heist missions to come through so that players could finally participate in multiplayer Heist missions along with their friends.

With new rewards as a part of the Heist, players can make the most of The Casino Heist and gain the necessary funds to buy cars, weapons, and apartments for their players.

Casino Heist Overview

One of the main developments of the Heists in G.T.A. Online is that players have access to a multitude of methods to approach the heists. For the Casino Heist Mission, players can adopt one of the three methods, and today, we’ll be taking a deep dive into the Big Con Approach.

The other methods are the Aggressive and the Silent, and Sneaky approaches. As the name implies, the Big Con Approach allows players to go ahead and con the casino using various disguises. But beware, the game doesn’t let you jump into the Casino Heist just like that.

You have to complete a plethora of setup missions and heist prep missions. It’ll take a bit of time gathering crew members, completing setup missions, and getting your hands on the necessary disguises, but all of it will be worth it.

We’ll be looking at the most efficient setups for the Big Con Heist. We don’t want to keep you waiting, so let’s just get right into the Con Casino Heist guide!

Prep Missions

First of all, you need to look at all the necessary prep missions that you need to complete before moving on to the main Heist. Prep missions don’t require friends to complete them; so you can proceed with the missions on a solo or multiplayer basis.

Still, we recommend that you proceed with the missions with at least one friend, as that will help speed up the completion time of each task and make sure you don’t get bored till you reach the end of the Heist.

But that’s not to say that it isn’t impossible to proceed with the prep missions independently. You can proceed with the prep missions in either public or solo sessions, whatever suits you.

Support Crew

Gunman

The gunman doesn’t really matter in the Big Con Approach since players have to con their way out in the Heist, and combat situations will be pretty much out of the question. The Heist will have what you call an “in and out” approach to it. In other words, players will be using various disguises to make their way into and out of the casino,

As such, you won’t really be needing weapons. Therefore, since you still have to choose a gunman for the Hiest, just go with the one who will take the slightest percentage cut. One such gunman, you will see, takes only a stake of just 5 percent, so just lock him in!

The gunman’s name is Karl Abolaji. With him on your roster, even if the Heist doesn’t go as planned, Karl won’t charge you a substantial amount of money compared to other available gunmen.

Speaking of the Hiest not going as planned, make sure to pick the Micro S.M.G. setup as your gunmen loadout to minimize the chances of failure. After all, you’d be better off not choosing the shotgun loadout as it does the least amount of damage.

Driver

Getting a driver isn’t the biggest of your concerns, as you won’t be needing a driver since a getaway vehicle isn’t required for this approach. But in the event that things go south, a driver is arguably mandatory. As such, you can go with the cheapest option available, which is KARIM DENZ.

Karim takes a 5 percent cut which isn’t all that bad. Moreover, you can opt for the Sentinel Classic getaway vehicle for the getaway car. Other than that, if you are hell-bent on using a getaway vehicle, make sure that they’re upgraded to Level 3 in the arcade garage by sitting in the car.

Hacker

Now, for the most important part of the heist crew: the Hacker. The Hacker is the quintessential heist crew member, and you need to make sure to pick a crew member that offers excellent performance for his pay. You might be wondering why that’s necessary. Essentially, the quality of the Hacker decides the time you take to get inside the vault. If you’ve gone about unlocking him, make sure to go with either Paige Harris or Avi Shwartzman.

As for the hacking device, there are two different locations to choose from. You’ll locate the first hacking device over at N.O.O.SE headquarters, while you’ll have to head over to the good old FIB building to grab the second hacking device.

N.O.O.S.E Mission

For the N.O.O.S.E. mission, you need to infiltrate the N.O.O.S.E. headquarters, for which you need a keycard. You’ll be instructed to head on over to a particular location where the so-called corrupt agent is located. Here, you will need to put him out of his misery in order to acquire his keycard for the N.O.O.S.E. headquarters infiltration.

Afterward, make your way to the headquarters, stealthily creeping inside the building while avoiding any security. Once inside, locate the hacking device with the help of your phone. The rest of the process is pretty simple to go through. Just make sure to avoid getting in the sights of the guards and roam about silently.

FIB Mission

If you acquire an assignment that requires you to travel to the FIB building, you must first murder some agents and obtain the FIB agent pass. The agent pass will enable you may impersonate a FIB agent. Once obtained, travel to the FIB building and park your vehicle directly in front of the entrance.

Enter the building and, as always, avoid other agents’ cones of vision since remaining in them for too long will eventually reveal you. Your first objective is to get to the ground floor’s elevator and ascend to the required floor. Once you’ve reached the necessary floor, pull out your phone and use the signal strength bar to locate the hacking device.

Once you’ve obtained the hacking gadget, return outside the same way you came in. Although, keep in mind that as soon as you approach the exit, the agents will get aggroed and begin shooting – so bring some munchies and armor!

Exit the building quickly and get into your car, which you had parked just in front of the door earlier. All you then need to do is get rid of the cops and return the hacking gadget to the arcade – that’s just everyday GTA, right?

Prep Work

As far as Prep Work is concerned, you need to complete two prep tasks; the rest may be ignored since the Big Con approach is talking about. We would recommend completing the DUGGAN SHIPMENT assignment if you’re a beginner, as it will significantly weaken the guards in the final Heist run.

Vault Keycards

You might be wondering why there’s so much information. You’d be surprised to know that this is the fastest method to complete the Heist, so hold on. It’s worth the wait!

There are two sorts of missions for obtaining vault keycards, an integral component of the Heist. One demands you to hijack a prison bus and obtain the keycard from one of the jail guards while also impersonating another jail guard. After you’ve obtained the keycards, you may exit the jail by taking the prisoner bus back the way you came in.

The second is relatively straightforward: in a nutshell, you’ll go to two security guards in two distinct places, murder them, and collect the cards. More specifically, one guard will be drunk on the street, while the other will be “having fun” in a hotel room. And, of course, to avoid alerting the cops, be sure to use a melee or suppressed weapon.

Patrol Routes

You might be thinking, well, why is the game including an optional prep mission in the world? Contrary to what you may think, Patrol Routes is one of the most critical preparation missions, particularly for the Big Con approach.

Basically, if you finish this assignment, you will be able to view the adversaries or guards on your minimap during the Heist run. I would strongly recommend you finish the mission so that you can readily observe where the guards are at any point in time and progress accordingly.

Let’s delve into the mission itself! The mission’s objective is to locate a specific vehicle and photograph the contents of its trunk. Do note that while the mission location is different every time you play through it, the automobiles are always the same. In other words, once you’ve recognized it, you can never mistake it for another!

You may choose between two colors for your car: grey or black. In addition, whether you stealth your way to the automobile or murder all the surrounding guards and take over the vehicle, it is entirely up to you. Just make sure that when you walk in to murder everyone, you don’t unintentionally blow up the target automobile!

Security Pass

Another Optional Mission? Well, you have to do it if you want to nail the Big Con Casino Heist. In summary, you must have a Level 2 Security Pass to complete the Hiest in the safest, most efficient way possible. Therefore, the Security Pass mission takes greater precedence as an optional mission, and you should definitely consider doing it.

As far as the mission itself is concerned, you can be assigned to one of two variants. The first asks you to attend a pool party and obtain the card from the Croupier, while the other needs you to remove it from the body of a deceased valet while impersonating a Coroner officer. Let’s discuss these two variants in detail, shall we?

Croupier Mission

You will be directed to a pool party for this variant of Security Pass mission. When you get to the party, a “suspicion” bar will appear in the bottom right corner of your screen. You may have guessed it, but the bar will progressively rise if you draw more attention to yourself. Thus, you must blend in and ensure that it stays low!

To keep the suspicion bar low, engage in activities such as drinking and dancing. Keep doing so until Lester has located the target, on whom you must identify and look for the keycard. However, you will eventually realize that the keycard is, astonishingly, not on them. Turns out they dropped the keycard and that it’s lying somewhere in the area – good luck searching!

T.I.P.: Even if you don’t stand out, your suspicion will always rise while searching for the keycard, albeit slightly. So, the best way to hold it at bay is to go to your interaction menu, set your action to dance and leave it on. In this manner, you may roam about and look for the card while keeping an eye on the suspicion bar.

Croner Approach

If you get the Coroner’s mission, you will be tasked with going to the church and stealing a hearse. Doing so will immediately get the cops on your tail, so shake them off before proceeding with the mission. Next, make your way to the Coroner’s office, in the process of which you will automatically put on the coroner officer’s uniform.

Enter the office and make your way to the mortuary while avoiding the officers’ cones of view as much as possible within the workplace. When you get to the mortuary, inspect the valet’s body for the keycard, making sure no one’s looking. Once you obtain the keycard, simply make your exit, and you’re good to go!

The Con Heist Prep

Getting the Disguises

One of the most crucial parts of the Big Con approach is getting a suitable disguise. We would highly recommend you select ‘Gruppe Sechs Gear’ as your entering disguise. Upon choosing this disguise, you will be given two objectives to complete in order to obtain the complete set.

You must get the Gruppe Sechs Van in the first objective, which will initially be locked when you arrive. The key to the van is held by one of the surrounding mechanics, so promptly take them out along with the guards. Do bear in mind that the cops will be alerted at this point, so get in the van and head back to the arcade.

The second assignment, or part 2 of the Gruppe Sechs Gear, requires you to visit Ginger Street, where you will find a Gruppe Sechs stockade. Simply take a picture of the stockade’s license plate and proceed to loot the costumes before returning to the arcade with them.

T.I.P.: You should know that Ginger Street will be ringed by guards – so you may either sneak in or go in guns blazing. It is all up to you. As previously stated, if you have a friend with you, you may finish this objective in a single run. However, if you are doing this on your own, you will need to return and get the clothing.

Vault Drills

The Vault Drills mission simply directs you to go to a designated spot to obtain the vault drills, which will be in the custody of a certain criminal. Do note that as the cops are also pursuing this individual, you will have to deal with both parties simultaneously. Furthermore, as there are two such drills, bringing a companion is strongly advised.

N.O.O.S.E Outfits

If you wish to leave the casino without being seen or attacked, you must steal the N.O.O.S.E costume from the police station. Additionally, you will need to steal two N.O.O.S.E costumes as the Heist itself requires a minimum of two people to do.

The mission warrants agility and quick reaction, as you’ll get a 4-star wanted level just upon entering the restricted area of the police station. Just get the clothing and dash out the door, avoid the cops, and return to the arcade with your N.O.O.S.E outfit. You may go back and retrieve the other one or complete it in one run if you’re with a friend.

Prep Board

We’re almost at the doorsteps of the Heist. The real fun is about to begin soon! Make sure you’ve been following this guide step-by-step! Let’s take a look at the final prep board first.

• Entrance: To get access, select the SECURITY TUNNEL.
• GRUPPE SECHS will serve as your entry disguise.
• Escape: You must exit through the STAFF LOBBY.
• Exit Disguise: Select the N.O.O.S.E clothing as your exit disguise.
• Buyer: You have total control over the buyer. However, choosing a ‘High Level’ buyer is suggested for more profit.
• You do not need to purchase a clean vehicle.
• You do not need to purchase the Gunman Decoy.

Big Con Heist Time

Breaching Security

To begin, enter the Gruppe Sechs stockade with a companion and proceed to the casino as directed by the game. Then proceed to the security tunnel and unlock the garage door at the end before reaching the security checkpoint. Here, you’ll be able to park the van (in a designated place) – it’s time to get to work!

It’s preferred to take the elevator all the way down to the basement once you’ve parked your van. Just make sure you don’t have any weapons out in your hands during this time. So, holster your pistol and proceed to the vault, passing past the security room.

Here, you will come across two keypads that must be triggered simultaneously by you and your pal, naturally demanding some level of communication. Moreover, this is also where those keycards you collected earlier will come into play! Once you’ve successfully unlocked the door, make your way to the mantrap leading to the vault.

Looting the Vault

Once you arrive at the vault, the guard will unlock it, and, of course, you must knock him out before he notices you. Once passed out, the vault will be open right before you – it’s time to start robbing! You will have 3 minutes and 15 seconds to loot the vault if you choose P.A.I.G.E, or 3 mintues and 30 seconds if you go with A.V.I.

During the course of your Heist, you will come across several fingerprint scanners; keep in mind that all of them will have an identical fingerprint pattern. In other words, if you’ve hacked one of them, the exact same pattern will apply to the rest. Trust us! This will significantly speed up your robbery.

Looting aside, it is also critical that you exit the vault before the countdown runs out because otherwise, you will have to battle your way out, and the entire ‘Big Con’ strategy will collapse. Therefore, it’s generally recommended to exit the vault when the countdown reaches 30-40 seconds. Better safe than sorry, right?

The Stealth Part of the Mission

When making your stealthy exit through the mantrap, don’t forget that you and your partner must swipe the cards at the same time once again. After that, return to the security room from where you came. DO NOT USE THE EASIER. Instead, swipe your keycard on the staircase entrance and go up the stairs to the staff lobby area.

Bear in mind that all of the guards will have been notified by this point, so don’t just barge into the staff lobby. You’ll have to be a little patient here, as you’ll see a guard just on the other side of the door, moving back and forth. So here’s what you need to do.

As that as soon as the guard moves to the left side, you and your companion must dash through the door and enter the door on the right. Then, wait here again because another guard will come by; as soon as he passes the door and advances to the right, you must enter the room and incapacitate the guard.

A Swift Exit

Nearing the end of the Heist, after you’ve taken care of the guard, turn around and head down the corridor, where you’ll see another patrolling guard. Yet again, wait for him to look the other way before walking into the room where your N.O.O.S.E clothes are.

Remember that the clothing symbol will be shown on your minimap. One will be past the third door along the corridor, while the other will be in the adjacent room, which your companion will be wearing. Once the two of you have put on your new disguises, depart the building using the Staff Lobby exit door. There will be no guards attacking you now.

A Few Technical Patches

Rockstar has made updates to the Casino Heist over the years; some obvious, some not-so-obvious, and there have been minor changes at the site where you’d moved initially.

Changes to the Main Route

For instance, the exact placement of the barricade is at the door to your right after departing the basement and reaching the top of the staircase. Now, the best way to tackle the situation is to wait for the guard to approach before instantly going through the door and taking out the guard.

Remember that you would wait for that one guard to return the way he came before proceeding to the door on the right? Well, the door is now obstructed by a cleaning stand.

So now, you should walk around the elevator and to the door on the right side, after taking care of the guard of course. Also, don’t forget to watch the camera on the opposite side when incapacitating the guard. All you need to do is simply hug the wall and keep out of the security cameras’ field of view.

Moving forward into the Heist, you will be able to go to the corridor that leads to the staff lobby after passing through the door. Now, before leaving, keep your distance from the door, as it now includes a little glass pane through which the guards may spot you.

Lastly, towards the end of the Heist, now wait around the corner until the second guard turns around, then dash to the washing room to get your N.O.O.S.E clothing. After that, the rest of the Heist mission pans out, as we described earlier.

The N.O.O.S.E. Patch

Apart from the Heist progression path, there are also a handful of additional significant adjustments outside the casino as you depart through the staff entrance.

For example, another N.O.O.S.E. van with two N.O.O.S.E. agents can now be found towards the end of the right side of the race track. Not only that but there will also be operatives stationed around the racetrack.

Despite all that, it shouldn’t be a problem for you, though, since you’ll be wearing the N.O.O.S.E. gear. However, they’ll notify you as soon as you reach the bottom end of the right side of the racing track, so be fast about it!

Getting away without N.O.O.S.E gear

But what if you didn’t select the N.O.O.S.E gear as your disguise? Don’t worry – just hug the railing on the right side of the race track and keep running until you reach the finish line. For whatever reason, doing so renders you invisible to the cones of vision of these N.O.O.S.E. operatives.

Once out into the casino grounds, dart to the racing track course via the staff lobby exit, staying on the right side of the track. Continue sprinting until you reach a little slope to the right (at the end of the right side), before hopping over the fence.

Bear in mind that after you leave the casino grounds, the cops will recognize you, and you will have a 5-star wanted status, so don’t hesitate! So once you’ve leaped over the fence, grab any vehicle insight and take refuge inside the sewage tunnel close by.

Once inside the tunnel, continue driving until you’re about in its center, where you should wait for your wanted level to disappear. Once the wanted level is depleted, continue driving till you reach the opposite end and meet with your buyer, ending the Casino Heist mission. You’ve conned them! Congratulations!

IMPORTANT: Do not approach the casino once you have taken care of the cops, as doing so will instantly give you a 5-star wanted level. So, instead of using the highway near the casino, make a diversion and take an alternative route to the buyer.

And that’s pretty much it for the guide. You’ve successfully conned the casino and raked in millions. To be specific, you make well over 2.7 million dollars. Looting diamonds lets you take the maximum possible payout from the Diamond Casino Heist, which is $3.619 million. Once your support crew and Lester’s cut are taken out, the amount left for players is $2,714,250.
